The autism assessment seeks to investigate whether a child or adolescent meets diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This understanding can inform subsequent treatment and support to meet the child’s needs.

Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing the Autism Spectrum 2 (MIGDAS-2)
Behavioural Assessment System for Children 3 (BASC-3)
Behavioural Rating Inventory of Executive Function 2 (BRIEF-2)
Social Responsiveness Scale 2 (SRS-2)
What is the cost?
The total cost is $1800, which includes the initial, testing and feedback sessions, as well as the report.
Initial Session
50 minute interview with parents/caregivers to gather information about the child’s functioning, cognitive abilities and background history.
Testing Session
2-3 hour session with the child where a battery of tests will be administered to determine their social and adaptive skills, strengths and areas of improvement.
Preliminary Feedback Session
A feedback session with parents/caregivers is conducted a few weeks after the testing session. This involves verbal feedback to highlight strengths and any areas that may need further attention or intervention.
Comprehensive Report
Six weeks after the assessment, you’ll receive a comprehensive written report that outlines the unique abilities of your child. This report includes specific recommendations for home-based supports, school accommodations, or further evaluations, depending on your child’s needs.
